Carter Rabasa is a 13-year veteran of the consumer web with experience in product development, product management and developer marketing. He built one of the first large-scale SMS voting systems that was used during Super Bowl XXXVI.
He graduated with Computer Science and Economics degrees from the College of William and Mary and holds an MBA from the University of Texas. He spent 3 years at Microsoft prior to joining Twilio as a Sr. Developer Evangelist in 2012.
Away from Twilio, he is an organizer of several Meetups, the curator of CascadiaJS and the creator of Sports Hack Day. He is an ardent believer that coding is the new literacy.
